Born in Uganda to Somali parents and raised in the United States, my journey has been shaped by a rich blend of cultures and experiences, including studies in Egypt and a fulfilling period studying and teaching in Kenya. This international background has cultivated in me a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for connection.
